we went to guanajuato and san luis potosi with new and newly intermediate students. 4 vaquillas and 2 becerros. an incredible run of quality animals particularly the corome becerros that each had a hundred pases and more. the vaquillas from e santo and valleumbroso were more complicated but super interesting. rapid progress from students. dr c. went from nothing to somewhere promising. jesus a amazed me in the capote.
weather good. prior to our arrival it rained hard, unseasonable. the countryside was glowing (see photo next post)
we saw juli and castella in juriquilla. astonishing display of 21st century toreo. the two of them attacking the bulls like desperate novilleros. amaya was also good adopting a classic style in front of the onslaught of circulares and almost magical heterodoxy from the all powerful euros. such an amazing event that i had to nick this shot.
